Volkswagen to start export of Polo to Mexico

Volkswagen India has started shipment of its hatchback Polo to Mexico- the largest exports market contributing around 80% of carmaker's total shipment from India.

 Polo becomes the second brand from Volkswagen after Vento to be exported to the North American Country. Till now Polo was only being exported to ASEAN region. The exports versions of both the Vento and Polo account for nearly 50% of the total cars produced at company's plant here.
